- While we file claims on your behalf as a courtesy, please remember that your dental insurance policy is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance company; we are not involved in that agreement.
- This is the best thing about your treatment plan as you don’t have to be limited by what your insurance benefits can cover or even if you don’t have insurance at all.
- As you will come to realize, not all services are compensated under each policy. Probably some insurance firms may opt to exclude certain services from being paid by the insurance firm. You owe it to yourself to make sure that you know what your policy does and does not cover. Any problems with coverage should be discussed with your employer or group plan provider since we will not be able to mediate between you and your insurance company.
- Our staff is always ready to help you with any questions you have concerning how your claim has been processed or any other information your insurance company may need to process your claim. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
- To ensure that our insured patients get the best service, we will complete and submit your dental insurance claim forms for you. At times, some of the insurance companies may be in a position to directly issue benefits checks to our office. However, if this happens, you will be expected to contribute to your deductible and your co-insurance at the time of treatment. Kindly make sure that all cheques or money deposited directly to your account by any insurance company for unpaid balances are remitted to our office for credit to your account.
- Your claim will be filed right away, and benefits should be received in 30-45 days. However, this does not mean that you cannot file an insurance claim and avoid paying your account on time. In case the claim has not been settled by the insurance company within 60 days. In that case, the unpaid balance will be declared ‘self-pay’ and you will be issued with a statement for the outstanding balance. It is your responsibility to pay for anything that your insurance company will not pay for any reason at all.
Feel free to reach out to your insurance company regarding any unpaid benefits. We would be happy to provide you with a letter containing all relevant information for you to sign and send. I acknowledge and accept the financial and dental insurance policies outlined above and confirm that all my questions have been answered to my satisfaction.
Refund Policy:
- You can request a refund for any pre-paid treatment that hasn't started at any time. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, except for cash payments, which will be refunded via check. Please allow up to 15 business days to process all refund requests, whether made by cash or credit. Any refunds for payments made through third-party lenders will be returned to the original account. Additionally, all pending insurance claims must be settled by your insurance company before a refund can be processed.
- Once services are rendered, payments are final, and no refunds will be issued for any treatments that have begun.
- We are committed to patient satisfaction. If you need any modifications or adjustments within 60 days of your original service date, please let us know, and we will do our best to ensure your needs are met.
